So, hey there everyone. My name's Change. Thought I do my own little introduction than leave it to everyone's favorite pain in the ass. I don't know most of you and most of you don't know me, but here's hoping we can all change that soon eh?

I'll be your tailor for the remainder of your stay here. If you need anything patched up, or just want a new look I'm the guy to come to. I might not look like it, but I'm pretty good with a needle.

[He almost closes the journal before whipping it back open again.]

Oh right, would anyone mind telling me who went through my things and took my stuff? And who nailed my penny collection to my ceiling?

[No offense Alex but he doesn't take the wineskin. The moment he sets that basket down Change grabs it and begins tearing through it. Bread, cheese, apples, these are all things he wants right now. He does eat slowly at the very least.]

Help's good. I could use that while I'm getting my strength.

[He speaks through mouthfuls of food.]

[No offense taken, bro. He pulls back the wineskin, and unstoppers it, taking a drink of the water he'd filled it with. He wasn't much of an idle drinker, but he should have said it was water and not wine. He watches as Change tears into the food he'd brought him, grinning slightly.]

Are you allowed to say how long they had you down there, or is that included in the topics we're to avoid?

[He takes another bite of his own nearly forgotten apple, not minding that Change talks while he eats. He's been around Weres for over half of his life; this was mild in the way of bad manners.]

[After finishing both a loaf of bread and an apple, Change holds his hand out for the wineskin now. It doesn't matter what's in it. All he needs is something to wash all the food down before he begins stuffing more food into his mouth again.]

More than a year from what they tell me.

[There were no windows in the place they kept him, and barely any light. Time just kind of came and went.]

[Alex passes over the wineskin, finishing off one apple in the time it took Change to destroy one of his own AND a loaf of bread.]

Jesus... it's like watching my packmates eat... [It's more musing aloud on his part than anything and he whistles softly at the answer, brow rising with a half smirk as the man goes for more food.]

Did they feed you down there?

[After taking a few large gulps he sets the wineskin down and takes a breath. He wants to eat more but he doesn't want to make himself sick at the moment. Better safe than sorry.]

Pack mates?

[This guy's not human?]

Got some gruel hand feed to me once a day while I was down there.

[Being human is over-rated these days, anyway!

Alex sits back in his chair, nodding at the unspoken question.]

Werewolves back home... extended family of a sort, but god to watch them eat. [He grins wryly and shakes his head, tucking hair behind his ear.] Made my being the only cat in the bunch stick out even more. They dug in on the ground and I drug it up a tree. [He snorts in amusement, though his smile slips a bit at Change's answer.]

I certainly hope they didn't strain anything keeping you so well fed... Christ, it's no wonder you look half starved... you are.

Huh, that I didn't see coming.

[He didn't expect someone so...fair to be a werewolf or werewhatever.]

Food wasn't the worst part of it really, that was the electrocution.

[His hand absentmindedly rub one of his wrists from he hung from the chains.]

[Alex cants a brow, but smiles a bit wryly at the comment.]

Yeah... surprises most people. Not as burly or hairy as people tend to imagine Weres... not until I shift, anyway.

[You know who was surprised? All those people he attacked more than a year ago. Especially Nepeta. Yeah, that was a regular lark. ;A;

He grimaces visibly when Change makes mention of the electrocution. His own neck and wrists bore scars from his own punishment, despite his healing factor.]

Yeah... they seem to really enjoy ye olde archaic torture and punishment...

[Said like someone that knows first hand.]

They come in all kinds I guess.

[Not like he's one to judge anyone anyway.

Change sighs and shakes his head.]

Yeah, can't say I agree with how that's dealt with here but that's the way it is.

[Doesn't mean he's got to like it.]

Oh, that’s for damn sure… [Look at this pair of non-judgmental, give no fuck, dudes!! Could you imagine them kicking it with a beer, sitting back on a couple of lawn chairs. Well, okay, more likely a mixed drink on Alex’s part, but those details aren’t any sort of thang!]
 
Mmm… make the best of it, eh? [He shakes his head slightly, leaning back in his chair again.] Are there any more of you guys locked up down there?

[Unless you're willing to anger the oh so generous lord that is.

Change shrugs his shoulder and takes another apple.]

No one ever told you I was down there did they?

[Alex had already had his share of angering the great Lord of the Keep and he hadn’t enjoyed it too terribly much, thanks. He watches as the man claims another apple for himself, shaking his head once.]
 
They might have let that tiny bit of information slide… we haven’t been told a whole lot, actually. Most of the time we’re advised not to snoop around where we’re not supposed to be.

[Change raises his eyebrow.]

If they did then they paid for it, but they're right. You really shouldn't poke around where you don't need to be.
