So, hey there everyone. My name's Change. Thought I do my own little introduction than leave it to everyone's favorite pain in the ass. I don't know most of you and most of you don't know me, but here's hoping we can all change that soon eh?

I'll be your tailor for the remainder of your stay here. If you need anything patched up, or just want a new look I'm the guy to come to. I might not look like it, but I'm pretty good with a needle.

[He almost closes the journal before whipping it back open again.]

Oh right, would anyone mind telling me who went through my things and took my stuff? And who nailed my penny collection to my ceiling?

[Change goes silent for a moment.]

Not a damn clue. It's hard to tell time when you're in a dark room being electrocuted.

[It's been a lot longer than he likes though.]

I'll probably start missing it, soon enough.

[He considers that, still trying to reconcile the man he'd rescued, the one he'd already started to be protective of, with a staff member he has to be careful around.]

I won't ask for details. But... is there anything you can tell me, without getting yourself in trouble?

It's like Duran said. I "aided a fugitive".

[From his tone it's clear that's not the way he sees it.]

Looks like I might get enough of it here, though.

[There's a long pause as he weighs the tone along with what he knows about this place, the way they found Change, and the scant conversation he got between Duran and Change.

Nick doesn't know all the details, and still doesn't understand this place, but it sounds somewhat familiar.]

Sometimes fugitives need aiding.

Sometimes they do.

[He makes a soft noise of agreement. All right, that's enough of vague conversations where he can't ask more things for Nick.]

Better watch that penny collection. Monroe's been talking about starting a coin collection to go along with his stamps.

Oh no, no one's getting their hands on that. Those babies are mint. Took me forever to find them.

[detectivetroll]

[Nick chuckles at that. It reminds him of Monroe getting excited over his trains and clocks, a little.]

I've got some pennies I could offer you, but I doubt they're worth anything.

Maybe not to you, but they're worth everything to me.

[detectivetroll]

[Nick raises an eyebrow at that, mostly because he has experience with coins worth everything to something, but shrugs it off. Collectors.]

Then they're yours, if you want them.

Hell yeah I want them. Pennies from a different world? I'm all over that.

[detectivetroll]

Now that, I didn't think of. Guess that makes them pretty unique, for you.

Next time I see you, I'll hand 'em over.

Well I won't be hard to find.

You're a tailor, right? Does that mean you'll be up in that tower with all the clothes in it?

What? No I've got a little place set up in the middle of the lake.

[He chuckles.]

And here I went for the obvious. Do you actually row out there?

[Excuse him Nick, but he has to laugh.]

I could pretend I did. Do you use a houseboat, or is there an island out there?

Nah, nothing like that. I sit on top of a giant octopus' head.

Sounds comfortable, nice and squishy. But how are you ever going to eat calamari, with your house taking offense to you eating its relatives?
